Tattva Level: pashu
Significance: Tīrtha-sevana: receiving sanctified water with proper rite is portrayed as yielding sukha/śānti, a narrative analogue to pilgrimage merit.
Role: nurturing
It highlights that sacred benefit arises when devotion is joined with proper purification (ācamana) and reverent reception of consecrated water—showing grace working through disciplined practice.
In Linga-centered worship, sanctified water (tīrtha/caraṇāmṛta) is received after ritual purity; the verse reflects the Saguna mode where Shiva’s grace is approached through prescribed rites and sacred substances.
Perform ācamana (ritual sipping) before worship or receiving tīrtha, then partake of the sanctified water with devotion—supporting steadiness of mind and purity in Shaiva practice.
