Suta Goswami (narrating the Kailasha Samhita teaching to the sages, presenting a Shaiva yogic-ritual instruction)
Tattva Level: pati
Shiva Form: Sadāśiva
Mantra: शिव एवाहमस्मीति
It presents the climax of Shaiva contemplation: the yogin realizes unity with Shiva (“Śiva alone am I”), then integrates that realization back into devotional order by re-establishing the āvaraṇa-deities within the heart—showing that liberation and reverent worship are complementary.
After the inward experience of Shiva as the supreme reality, the practitioner does not abandon Saguna practice; instead, the worship-structure (āvaraṇa) is internalized. This aligns linga-upāsanā with inner nyāsa: the deity-circles are seated in the heart as a living, subtle temple.
A dhyāna-nyāsa sequence: meditate until the sense of Shiva-identity arises, then perform inner “installation” (udvāsana/āvāhana in the heart) of the āvaraṇa-devatās—often supported by japa of the Panchākṣarī (Om Namaḥ Śivāya) and disciplined inner worship.
