अभि त्यं मेषं पुरुहूतमृग्मियमिन्द्रं गीर्भिर्मदता वस्वो अर्णवम् यस्य द्यावो न विचरन्ति मानुषं भुजे मंहिष्ठमभि विप्रमर्चत .

Hỡi các tư tế sung túc, hãy dùng thánh ca (gīr) mà ca ngợi Indra: kẻ xông tới như dê đực (meṣa), đấng được khẩn cầu nhiều (puruhūta), đề tài của các thánh tụng (ṛgmya), vui say trong biển lũ Soma (Soma arṇava) dồi dào.
