Indra’s sovereignty and exclusive praise at the Soma-pressing
पिबा सुतस्य रसिनो मत्स्वा न इन्द्र गोमतः आपिर्नो बोधि सधमाद्ये वृधे3 ऽस्मां अवन्तु ते धियः
pibā sutasya rasino matsvā na indra gomataḥ āpirno bodhi sadhamādye vṛdhe3 'smāṃ avantu te dhiyaḥ

Xin Ngài uống dòng Soma (Soma) thơm ngọt đã được ép; xin Ngài hân hoan vì chúng con, hỡi Indra giàu đàn bò. Trong yến tiệc đồng ẩm (sadhamādya), xin làm bạn hữu của chúng con để tăng trưởng; nguyện những ý hướng hiền hòa của Ngài (dhiyaḥ) che chở chúng con.
