महि महे दिवे अर्चा पृथिव्यै कामो म इच्छञ्चरति प्रजानन् । ययोर्ह स्तोमे विदथेषु देवाः सपर्यवो मादयन्ते सचायोः ॥

Transliteration

máhi mahé divé arcā pṛthivyái kā́mo ma icchán cárati prajā́nann | yáyor ha stóme vidáthēṣu devā́ḥ saparyávo mā́dayante sacā́yoḥ ||

Translation

Hãy cất lên thánh ca rộng lớn dâng Trời Vĩ Đại và Đất. Trong ta, khát vọng tìm cầu chuyển động, biết rõ đích đến. Vì trong lời tán dương của hai Đấng ấy, trong các hội lễ theo trật tự chính đạo (vidatha), các thần linh phụng sự và hoàn thành công việc hoan hỷ cùng với hai vị—Trời và Đất.
