आ वां मित्रावरुणा हव्यजुष्टिं नमसा देवाववसा ववृत्याम् । अस्माकं ब्रह्म पृतनासु सह्या अस्माकं वृष्टिर्दिव्या सुपारा ॥

ā vā́m mitrāvaruṇā havyá-juṣṭiṁ námasā devāv ávasā vavṛtyām | asmā́kaṁ bráhma pṛ́tanāsu sahyā́ asmā́kaṁ vṛ́ṣṭir divyā́ su-pā́rā ||

Hỡi Mitra và Varuṇa, con hướng hai Ngài về phía chúng con bằng lễ bái, nhờ quyền năng hộ trì của hai Ngài, để hưởng niềm hoan hỷ của lễ vật (hávya). Nguyện brahman—lời linh hứng của chúng con—đắc thắng giữa các trận chiến; nguyện cơn mưa thiên giới của ân phúc dễ vượt qua và đưa chúng con an lành sang bờ bên kia.
