युद्धकाण्डे अष्टमः सर्गः — राक्षससभा-युद्धपरामर्शः
War-Council Boasts and Stratagems
सर्वेप्रमत्ताविश्वस्तावञ्चितास्स्महनूमता ।नहिमेजीवतोगच्छेज्जीवन् सवनगोचरः ।।6.8.3।।
sarve pramattā viśvastā vañcitāḥ sma hanūmatā |
na hi me jīvato gacchej jīvan sa vanagocaraḥ ||6.8.3||
Tất cả chúng ta vì buông lung, tự phụ mà đã bị Hanumān lừa qua mặt. Khi ta còn sống, kẻ lang thang rừng thẳm ấy quyết không thể thoát thân mà còn sống.
"I alone will kill that Rama with Lakshmana, Sugriva, that Angada, Hanuman and the Vanara army."।।ityārṣēvālmīkīyēśrīmadrāmāyaṇēādikāvyēyuddhakāṇḍēaṣṭamassargaḥ।।This is the end of the eighth sarga of Yuddha Kanda of the first epic the holy Ramayana composed by sage Valmiki.
