War-Council Boasts and Stratagems

Khi ấy, rākṣasa tên Vajrahanu, thân hình như núi; nổi giận, liếm mép bằng lưỡi, liền thốt ra những lời này.
Then a Rakshasa called Vajrahanu, mountain like in form, enraged, licking lips with his tongue said these words.
The verse signals the rise of krodha and predatory intent; dharma teaches mastery of senses and restraint, especially before violence.
The narrator introduces another rākṣasa champion, Vajrahanu, about to speak in the council.
Physical power is emphasized, but the dominant trait is uncontrolled anger—presented as a moral weakness.
