Sarga 76: Angada and the Vanara chiefs battle Kampana, Prajaṅgha, Yūpākṣa, Śoṇitākṣa; Kumbha enters and is checked by Sugrīva
सम्पीड्यरसिचास्कन्धम् करेणाभिनिवेश्य च ।।।।किञ्चिदभ्यवनम्यैनमुन्ममाथयथागजः ।
sampīḍyorasi cāskandhaṃ kareṇābhiniveśya ca |
kiñcid abhyavanamyainam unmamātha yathā gajaḥ ||

Compressing the trunk of the tree on the chest with one hand and bending forward a little its branches with another hand, he (Angada) tore Kumbha in that way in the great fight like an elephant.
The verse illustrates dharma as vigorous right effort: when duty demands resistance to adharma, one must act with full strength and resolve.
Angada, though injured, uproots the tree he has seized, preparing it as a weapon in the fight.
Indomitable will (dhṛti): Angada’s capacity to continue and escalate his response despite wounds.
