युद्धे अङ्गद-मैन्द-द्विविद-राक्षसयुद्धम्; कुम्भस्य प्रादुर्भावः तथा सुग्रीवेण पराभवः

स यूपाक्षोऽश्रुपूर्णाक्षःपितृव्येनिहतेरणे ।अवरुह्यरथात्क्षिप्रंक्षीणेषुखङ्गमाददे ।।।।
sa yūpākṣo ’śru-pūrṇākṣaḥ pitṛvye nihate raṇe | avaruhya rathāt kṣipraṃ kṣīṇeṣu khaṅgam ādade ||
Yūpākṣa, đôi mắt đẫm lệ vì thấy người chú ngã xuống giữa chiến địa, liền vội rời khỏi chiến xa; khi tên đạn đã cạn, chàng rút gươm cầm lấy.
