युद्धे अङ्गद-मैन्द-द्विविद-राक्षसयुद्धम्; कुम्भस्य प्रादुर्भावः तथा सुग्रीवेण पराभवः

सृष्टाव्निविदमैन्दाभ्यांद्रुमानुत्पाट्यवीर्यवान् ।बभञ्जगदयामध्येशोणिताक्षःप्रतापवान् ।।।।
sṛṣṭān vivida-maindābhyāṃ drumān utpāṭya vīryavān | babhañja gadayā madhye śoṇitākṣaḥ pratāpavān ||
Śoṇitākṣa dũng mãnh nhổ bật những cây do Dvivida và Mainda ném tới, rồi dùng chùy đập vỡ ngay giữa đường bay.
