The Slaying of Atikāya
तंनिकृत्तंशरंदृष्टवाकृत्तभोगमिवोरगम् ।।।।अतिकायोभृशंक्रुद्धःपञ्चबाणान् समाददे ।
taṃ nikṛttaṃ śaraṃ dṛṣṭvā kṛttabhogam ivoragam | atikāyo bhṛśaṃ kruddhaḥ pañcabāṇān samādade ||
Thấy mũi tên của mình bị chém đứt, như con rắn bị cắt lìa vòng cuộn, Atikāya càng thêm cuồng nộ, liền cầm lấy năm mũi tên.
Seeing the arrow torn asunder like a serpent, Atikaya was offended and became very angry and fitted five arrows to his bow.
