Thấy đỉnh núi ấy lao tới, hắn liền dùng nắm đấm đánh mạnh. Bị cú đấm giáng trúng, đỉnh núi vỡ tan; nó rơi xuống mặt đất, bốc lửa rực cháy, tung tóe muôn tia lửa.
(Kumbhakarna) observing the mountain peak coming towards him pierced it with his fist. Struck by the fist, the peak broke and sparks of fire came out shining brightly and fell on the ground.
The verse underscores that raw force can neutralize force, but Dharma ultimately requires force to be guided by rightful purpose; power alone is not moral authority.
Kumbhakarṇa meets Nīla’s thrown mountain-peak head-on and destroys it with a single punch, displaying overwhelming strength.
The highlighted trait is vīrya (martial might), though framed as a narrative fact rather than a moral ideal.
