prathamaṃ vai mahārāja kṛtyam etad acintitam | kevalaṃ vīryadarpeṇa nānubandho vicintitaḥ ||6.63.4||

Tâu Đại vương, ngay từ đầu hành động này đã không được suy tính kỹ lưỡng; chỉ vì kiêu ngạo về sức mạnh mà hậu quả không được cân nhắc.
