युद्धकाण्डे एकोनषष्टितमः सर्गः
Rāvaṇa’s Assault on Nīla and Lakṣmaṇa; Hanumān Bears Rāma
तमाहसौमित्रिरदीनसत्त्वोविष्फारयन्तंधनुरप्रमेयम् ।अभ्येहिमामद्यनिशाचरेन्द्रनवानरांस्त्वप्रतियोद्धुमर्हः ।।6.59.94।।
tam āha saumitrir adīna-sattvo viṣphārayantaṃ dhanur aprameyam |
abhy ehi mām adya niśācarendra na vānaraṃs tvaṃ pratiyoddhum arhaḥ ||6.59.94||
Bấy giờ Saumitrī, dũng tâm không hề nao núng, nói với kẻ đang giương vang cây cung vô lượng ấy: “Hãy đến giao chiến với ta hôm nay, hỡi chúa tể loài dạ-xoa; ngươi không xứng đối địch với các Vānara.”
Saumithri who was not depressed in spirit (by Ravana's attack) addressing Ravana who was stretching his bow said "Oh! Lord of night rangers, Be aware. You ought not to fight with vanaras."
