Akampana Dispatched; The Vanara–Rakshasa Battle and Omens
द्रुमशक्तिगदाप्रासैश्शिलापरिघतोमरैः ।।।।हरयोराक्षसाश्चैवस्तूर्णंजघ्नुरन्योन्यमोजसा ।
druma-śakti-gadā-prāsaiḥ śilā-parigha-tōmaraiḥ | harayo rākṣasāś caiva stūrṇaṃ jaghnur anyōnyam ōjasā ||
Với cây rừng, giáo mác, chùy và lao; lại với đá tảng, đòn sắt và phi lao, các Vānara cùng bọn Rākṣasa đã ào ạt giáng đánh lẫn nhau bằng sức mạnh dữ dội.
Then Rakshasas and Vanaras fought one another vigorously with trees, javelins, maces, darts, rocks, and peaks.
The verse is descriptive, but ethically it points to the escalation of violence: Dharma demands that power (bala) be governed by purpose and limits, otherwise strength becomes mere destruction.
