वानर-ऋक्ष-सेना-प्रशंसा
Cataloguing the Vanara and Bear Forces
यवीयानस्यतुभ्रातापश्यैनंपर्वतोपमम् ।भ्रात्रासमानोरूपेणविशिष्टस्तुपराक्रमैः ।।।।सएषजाम्बवान्नाममहायूथपयूथपः ।प्रक्रान्तोगुरुवर्तीचसम्प्रहारेष्वमर्षण ।।।।
yavīyān asya tu bhrātā paśyainaṃ parvatopamam | bhrātrā samāno rūpeṇa viśiṣṭas tu parākramaiḥ ||
sa eṣa jāmbavān nāma mahā-yūthapa-yūthapaḥ | prakrānto guru-vartī ca samprahāreṣv amarṣaṇaḥ ||
Hãy nhìn vị ấy, vóc dáng như núi—là em của vị thủ lĩnh kia; hình dung tương tự huynh trưởng, nhưng oai lực thì vượt trội. Ấy là Jāmbavān, bậc đại tướng giữa các tướng—xông pha quả cảm, kính thuận bậc trưởng thượng, và trong giáp chiến thì không hề khuất phục.
"See this one like a mountain, he is the brother of Dhumra. Even though he is similar to his brother in body form and his valour is great. As such he is superior among leaders. He is called Jambavan, one of valourous deeds, devoted to elders and intolerant in killing."
