The Pushpaka Vimāna Offered and the Return Prepared
मांनिवर्तयितुंयोऽसौचित्रकूटमुपागतः ।शिरसायाचतोयस्यवचनं न कृतंमया ।।।।कौसल्यां च सुमित्रां च कैकेयीं च यशस्विनीम् ।गुहं च सुहृदंचैवपौरान्जनपदैस्सह ।।।।
māṃ nivartayituṃ yo 'sau citrakūṭam upāgataḥ |
śirasā yācato yasya vacanaṃ na kṛtaṃ mayā ||
kausalyāṃ ca sumitrāṃ ca kaikeyīṃ ca yaśasvinīm |
guhaṃ ca suhṛdaṃ caiva paurān janapadais saha ||
Người ấy đã đến Chitrakūṭa để khuyên ta quay về; dù cúi đầu khẩn cầu, ta vẫn không làm theo lời. Cũng vậy, ta chẳng nhượng bộ trước Kausalyā, Sumitrā, Kaikeyī hiển vinh, trước người bạn Guha, cùng toàn thể dân thành và dân các miền thôn dã.
"He came to Chitrakuta and on reaching bent down obediently, begged me by his words to return which I did not do. Kausalya, Sumithra and Kaikeyi and Guha also requested and the request of the citizens has been turned down.
