इन्द्रवरदानम् / Indra Grants Boons: Restoration of the Vanara Host
श्रुत्वातुवचनंतस्यराघवस्यमहात्मनः ।महेन्द्रःप्रत्युवाचेदंवचनंप्रीतिसंयुतम् ।।।।
śrutvā tu vacanaṃ tasya rāghavasya mahātmanaḥ | mahendraḥ pratyuvācedaṃ vacanaṃ prītisaṃyutam ||
Nghe lời của Rāghava, bậc đại hồn, Mahendra liền đáp lại bằng lời nói chan chứa niềm hoan hỷ.
Hearing high souled Raghava's words, Mahendra in turn replied as follows.
Dharma is affirmed by higher powers: Indra’s pleased response signals that righteous intent—seeking others’ welfare—is worthy of support.
Indra responds after hearing Rāma’s request for boons benefiting the Vānara allies.
Prīti and anugraha (benevolent grace): Indra responds with goodwill toward Rāma’s dharmic request.
