सीतासान्त्वनम् / Hanuman Consoles Sita with the News of Victory
मैवंवदमहाबाहो दैवेह्येषापरागतिः ।प्राप्तव्यंतुदशायोगान्मयैतदितिनिश्चितम् ।।6.116.42।।दासीनांरावणस्याहंमर्षयामीहदुर्बला ।
maivaṃ vada mahābāho daivī hy eṣā parā gatiḥ | prāptavyaṃ tu daśāyogān mayaitad iti niścitam || 6.116.42 || dāsīnāṃ rāvaṇasyāhaṃ marṣayāmīha durbalā |
“Đừng nói như thế, hỡi bậc đại lực, cánh tay hùng mạnh. Đây quả là kết cục do thiên ý chi phối. Ta tin chắc rằng, do thế cuộc đưa đẩy, ta phải trải qua điều này. Yếu đuối và bất lực nơi đây, ta xin tha thứ cho các tỳ nữ của Rāvaṇa.”
"Mighty Armed Hanuman! Do not speak in this manner. It was my fate which was supreme. Because of my predetermined circumstances I reaped such a result. I am feeble-hearted and condone the maids surely."
