Ravana’s Funeral Rites and the Ethics of Post-War Conduct
साहंबन्धुजनैर्हीनाहीनानाथेन च त्वया ।।।।विहीनाकामभोगैश्चशोचिष्येशाश्वतीस्समाः ।
sāhaṃ bandhujanair hīnā hīnānāthena ca tvayā | vihīnā kāmabhogaiś ca śociṣye śāśvatīḥ samāḥ ||
Ta đây, mất hết thân tộc, lại mất cả người—đấng chúa tể và chỗ nương tựa của ta; cũng bị tước khỏi mọi lạc thú, ta sẽ than khóc suốt những năm dài vô tận.
