राघव-रावणयोः घोर-द्वैरथ-युद्धम्
The Fierce Chariot-Duel of Rama and Ravana
स निकृत्तोऽपतद्भूमौरावणस्यन्दनध्वजः ।ध्वजस्योन्मथनंदृष्टवारावणस्समहाबलः ।।6.109.13।।सम्प्रदीप्तोऽभवत्क्रोधादमर्षात्प्रहसन्निव ।स रोषवशमापन्नश्शरवर्षंववर्ष ह ।।6.109.14।।
sampradīpto 'bhavat krodhād amarṣāt prahasann iva |
sa roṣa-vaśam āpannaḥ śara-varṣaṃ vavarṣa ha ||6.109.14||
Vì phẫn nộ và tự ái bị thương, hắn bừng bừng như lửa, như thể cười khinh miệt. Bị cơn giận chi phối, hắn trút xuống một trận mưa tên.
Ravana with his burning arrows pierced Rama's horses. Those horses were wonderful as they did not stagger or reel as if hurt by lotus stalks and remained complacent.
