Bấy giờ cung điện ấy rực rỡ—nhờ ánh lửa của châu báu và cả uy quang của Rāvaṇa—tựa như mặt trời chói lọi, bừng lên muôn tia sáng.
The palace of Ravana looked splendid with gems of different hues and with Ravana's presence, it was shining like the radiant Sungod.
The verse prompts ethical discernment: tejas (splendor) can appear sun-like, but dharma depends on right action; the Ramayana repeatedly distinguishes outer radiance from inner righteousness.
As Hanuman looks on, the narrator emphasizes the palace’s brilliance, heightened by Ravana’s presence.
Steadfast clarity: Hanuman does not confuse magnificence with moral legitimacy.
