The Devastation of the Pleasure-Garden
Ashoka Vatika
Furious Maruti endowed with fierce valour started uprooting the trees with the speed sprung from his thighs like the Wind-god.
Dharma is steadfast service to a righteous mission: Hanumān frames violence as duty-bound—directed against aggressors sent by an adharmic power—and oriented toward restoring justice.
After locating Sītā, Hanumān anticipates the inevitable clash with rākṣasas and resolves to defeat the forces that Rāvaṇa will send.
Vīrya (heroic courage) joined with niṣṭhā (steadfast commitment) to Rāma’s cause and the safety of Sītā.
