Hanumān–Sītā Dialogue and Identity Verification
का त्वं भवसि कल्याणि त्वमनिन्दितलोचने।कोपाद्वा यदि वा मोहाद्भर्तारमसितेक्षणे।।।।वसिष्ठं कोपयित्वा त्वं नासि कल्याण्यरुन्धती।
kā tvaṃ bhavasi kalyāṇi tvam anindita-locane |
kōpād vā yadi vā mohād bhartāram asitekṣaṇe ||
vasiṣṭhaṃ kopayitvā tvaṃ nāsi kalyāṇy arundhatī |
Ôi người cát tường, ôi nàng có đôi mắt không tì vết—nàng là ai? Hỡi nàng mắt đen, phải chăng vì giận dữ hay vì mê muội mà nàng đã xúc phạm phu quân? Ôi nàng hiền thục, nàng chẳng phải chính là Arundhatī phúc lành, từng bị đổi chỗ vì làm Vasiṣṭha nổi giận đó sao?
"O lady of lovely black eyes! who are you? Have you by any chance offended your husband out of anger or out of delusion? Are you the auspicious Arundhati dislodged for making your lord Vasistha angry?
