Nàng thở dài, khổ đau vì sầu muộn, tâm trí bị nỗi bi thương đánh gục; Maithilī trong cơn tuyệt vọng để lệ tuôn trào và cất tiếng than khóc.
The distressed Mythili, her consciousness drowned in grief, sighing, shed streams of tears.
It underscores compassion and the recognition of unjust suffering: dharma is contrasted with the cruelty that produces such grief.
Isolated in captivity, Sītā’s sorrow intensifies; she sighs, weeps, and begins to lament.
Emotional honesty coupled with endurance—grief is expressed without surrendering moral resolve.
