अशोकवनिकायां सीतादर्शनम्
Sita Seen in the Ashoka Grove
इयं सा यत्कृते रामश्चतुर्भिः परितप्यते।कारुण्येनानृशंस्येन शोकेन मदनेन च।।5.15.49।।स्त्री प्रणष्टेति कारुण्यादाश्रितेत्यानृशंस्यतः।पत्नी नष्टेति शोकेन प्रियेति मदनेन च।।5.15.50।।
asyā devyā yathā rūpam aṅga-pratyaṅga-sauṣṭhavam |
rāmasya ca yathā rūpaṁ tasyeyam asitekṣaṇā ||
Dung nhan của vị phu nhân cao quý này—từng chi từng nét đều hài hòa viên mãn—cũng như dung mạo của Rāma; người phụ nữ mắt đen ấy quả thật xứng đôi vừa lứa với Ngài.
"She is that same lady for whom Rama has been passing through compassion, benevolence, grief and passion. He is compassionate considering her a woman, kind and benevolent since she is his dependent, stricken with grief for losing a wife and passionate since she is his beloved.
