रावणभवनपरिक्रमणं हनूमतः शोकविचारश्च

सम्परिक्रम्य हनुमान्रावणस्य निवेशनात्।अदृष्ट्वा जानकीं सीतामब्रवीद्वचनं कपिः।।।।
samparikramya hanumān rāvaṇasya niveśanāt | adṛṣṭvā jānakīṃ sītām abravīd vacanaṃ kapiḥ ||
Đi khắp quanh dinh thự của Rāvaṇa, Hanumān vẫn không thấy Jānakī Sītā; bấy giờ vị khỉ thần ấy tự nói với mình những lời này.
