हनूमद्बलप्रबोधनम् / Jāmbavān Rekindles Hanūmān’s Power
स तां भुजाभ्यां दीर्घाभ्यां पर्यष्वजत मारुतः।मन्मथाविष्टसर्वाङ्गो गतात्मा तामनिन्दिताम्।।।।
sa tāṃ bhujābhyāṃ dīrghābhyāṃ paryaṣvajata mārutaḥ |
manmathāviṣṭasarvāṅgo gatātmā tām aninditām ||
Bấy giờ Maruta dùng đôi cánh tay dài ôm lấy người phụ nữ không tì vết ấy; toàn thân bị ái tình xâm chiếm, tâm trí rối loạn, tự chủ tiêu tan.
'The Wind-god lost his control over himself. His whole being was overpowered by love for her beautiful, flawless body. He embraced her with his long arms.
It implicitly warns that overpowering passion disrupts self-mastery; Dharma is sustained by control of mind and senses.
The Wind-god, overwhelmed by desire, moves to embrace Anjanā.
Anjanā is described as “aninditā” (blameless), underscoring her moral purity despite the external disturbance.
