Sampāti’s Account and the Sage Niśākara
अस्य विन्ध्यस्य शिखरे पतितोऽस्मि पुरावने।सूर्यतपपरीताङ्गो निर्दग्धस्सूर्यरश्मिभिः।।4.60.4।।
asya vindhyasya śikhare patito 'smi purā vane | sūryatāpa-parītāṅgo nirdagdhaḥ sūryaraśmibhiḥ || 4.60.4 ||
Thuở xưa, thân ta bị sức nóng mặt trời thiêu đốt, bị tia nắng đốt cháy, nên đã ngã xuống trên đỉnh núi Vindhya này.
Scorched by the rays of the Sun, I was burnt totally and fell on the peak of this mount Vindhya years ago.
