Consolation of Tara and Counsel on Succession
'You are mother of a surviving son, Angada. You have to look after him in times to come. Think of the duties to be performed now.
Social dharma of guardianship as understood in royal lineages: the father (and then paternal line) bears primary responsibility for the son’s protection and planning.
Tārā challenges Hanumān’s succession-focused consolation by asserting traditional kinship roles surrounding Aṅgada’s security.
Frankness rooted in social norms: Tārā speaks plainly about lineage-duty even while grieving.
