Tara’s Lament over Vāli
'(To Vali she said) O lord of monkeys! Why don't you speak to me loving words when I am wailing this way? Here are your excellent wives!'
It highlights relational dharma: the bonds of spouse and household, and the pain when death ends dialogue and duty within the family.
Tārā laments beside the dying Vāli, yearning for a loving response and drawing attention to his household.
Tārā’s steadfast attachment and sincerity—she speaks directly from grief without pretense.
