द्वादशः सर्गः — Rama’s Proof of Power, the First Duel, and the Identification Mark
Kishkindha Kanda, Sarga 12

Rồi Rāma, tay cầm cung, chăm chú quan sát hai dũng sĩ ấy; họ giống nhau đến lạ, như đôi thần Aśvin song sinh giữa chư thiên.
Rama, subduer of the enemy's pride, strung his terrific bow, produced the twang that filled all directions, and discharged a single arrow aimed at the sala tree.
Dharma demands viveka (discernment): before using lethal force, one must be certain of identity and justice, especially when innocents or allies could be harmed.
Rāma watches Vāli and Sugrīva closely during their combat because they look nearly identical.
Prudence and moral caution—Rāma’s careful observation before deciding to act.
