Kausalya’s Benedictions and Protective Rites for Rama
समित्कुश पवित्राणि वेद्यश्चायतनानि च।स्थण्डिलानि विचित्राणि शैला वृक्षाः क्षुपा ह्रदाः।।2.25.7।।पतङ्गाः पन्नगास्सिंहास्त्वां रक्षन्तु नरोत्तम।
samit-kuśa-pavitrāṇi vedyāś cāyatanāni ca | sthaṇḍilāni vicitrāṇi śailā vṛkṣāḥ kṣupā hradāḥ || 2.25.7 || pataṅgāḥ pannagāḥ siṃhās tvāṃ rakṣantu narottama |
Hỡi bậc tối thượng trong loài người, nguyện củi tế, cỏ kuśa thanh tịnh, các bàn thờ và thánh điện; những nền tế đa dạng, núi non, cây rừng, bụi cỏ và hồ nước; cùng chim muông, rắn thần và sư tử—đều hộ trì cho ngài.
O best of men! may sacrificial fuel, kusa grass and sacred rings made of kusha grass, sacrificial altars, temples, various levelled sacrificial grounds, mountains, trees, plants, lakes, birds, serpents and lions protect you!
