पितृमरणश्रवणं जलक्रिया च
Hearing of Daśaratha’s death and the libation rites at Mandākinī
आनयेङ्गुदिपिण्याकं चीरमाहर चोत्तरम्।जलक्रियार्थं तातस्य गमिष्यामि महात्मनः।।।।
ānaya iṅgudi-piṇyākaṃ cīram āhara cottaram |
jalakriyārthaṃ tātasya gamiṣyāmi mahātmanaḥ ||
“Hãy đem đến bã khô của quả iṅgudī, và mang thêm một tấm áo trên bằng vỏ cây. Ta sẽ đi làm lễ dâng nước (tarpana) cho phụ vương đại nhân.”
I shall go and offer libations to my magnanimous father. Go and fetch the dried pulp of ingudi fruit and an upper garment made of bark.
