नूनं राम न जानासि महद्व्यसनमात्मनः।धावन्ति नूनं काकुत्स्थं मदर्थं मृगपक्षिणः।।।।

Transliteration

nūnaṃ rāma na jānāsi mahadvyasanam ātmanaḥ |

dhāvanti nūnaṃ kākutsthaṃ madarthaṃ mṛga-pakṣiṇaḥ ||

Translation

Hẳn là, hỡi Rāma, chàng vẫn chưa biết tai ương lớn đã giáng xuống mình. Vì thiếp, muông thú và chim chóc hẳn đang chạy đến chàng, hỡi dòng dõi Kakutstha, như để báo tin điều đang xảy đến với thiếp.
