दितिस्त्वजनयत्पुत्रान् दैत्यांस्तात यशस्विनः।।3.14.15।।तेषामियं वसुमती पुराऽसीत्सवनार्णवा।
ditis tv ajanayat putrān daityāṃs tāta yaśasvinaḥ | teṣām iyaṃ vasumatī purā 'sīt sa-vanārṇavā ||
Này hiền hữu, Diti đã sinh ra những người con lẫy lừng, gọi là các Daitya; thuở xưa, chính cõi đất này—cùng rừng cây và biển cả—từng thuộc về họ.
O dear Rama, Diti bore glorious sons called Daityas and this earth with all the forests and seas belonged to them.
