D
Dilīpa

FAQs

It emphasizes the purifying power of darśana (beholding a holy or spiritually elevated person) and the humility of dāsya (servant-attitude) as a devotional posture.

Dilīpa is speaking, addressing a “suvrata” (virtuous one) with reverence, offering blessings and declaring himself a servant, expressing gratitude for spiritual purification.

It models humility, reverence for the virtuous, and faith that proximity to holiness—expressed here as darśana—can transform one’s inner state and remove moral impurity.
