The Greatness of Puruṣottama
Goloka-tattva and Rādhā–Kṛṣṇa Upāsanā
Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It establishes Goloka as a revered, authoritative teaching known to exalted sages and perfected yogins, implying it is a legitimate and highly valued spiritual destination/realm within Vaishnava sacred geography.
By highlighting Goloka as “īpsitam” (deeply desired) and known to saintly authorities like Nārada and Sanaka, the verse supports the bhakti ideal that the highest goal is realized through the wisdom and devotion preserved by such realized devotees.
No specific Vedāṅga (like Vyākaraṇa or Jyotiṣa) is taught in this line; instead, it emphasizes pramāṇa (reliable authority) by citing recognized sages as transmitters of sacred knowledge.
