FAQs

It frames the pratima as a sanctified, time-honored focus of devotion and dharma, and emphasizes that attaining sacred objects is done through prescribed upaya (right method), not mere desire.

By presenting the pratima as “royal-worship-worthy” and “ancient,” it highlights bhakti expressed through reverent murti-puja—approaching the divine with honor, purity, and proper procedure.

The verse points to ritual method (upaya) for acquisition and worship, aligning with Kalpa (ritual procedure) rather than grammar or astrology; it signals that correct rites govern consecration, receiving, and honoring sacred icons.
