Kāruṇya-stotra Phalaśruti; Dream-Darśana of Vāsudeva; Manifestation and Pratiṣṭhā of Jagannātha, Balabhadra (Ananta), and Subhadrā
Suta (narrating the Purana account)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: adbhuta (wonder)
Secondary Rasa: bhakti (devotion)
It highlights anugraha (divine grace): even without external ritual at that moment, the Lord as Jagadguru directly grants darśana, indicating protection and guidance for the devotee/king.
Bhakti is shown as relational and personal—Vāsudeva responds to the devotee by revealing Himself, affirming that remembrance and surrender culminate in the Lord’s direct presence (darśana), even in a dream-state.
Not a direct Vedāṅga teaching; however, the dream-vision functions as a nimitta (sign/omen) used in Purāṇic narrative to prompt right action, aligning with traditional interpretive practice rather than a technical śāstra lesson.
