Narada
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: vira
It presents a simple but potent devotional discipline—night-long fasting/vigil accompanied by mantra and praise—showing that sincere, supreme bhakti directed to Hari is the core means of spiritual merit.
Bhakti is expressed through loving worship: singing stotras, reciting mantras, and engaging the senses (sound/music) while maintaining upavāsa for one night—devotion, not mere ritual display, is emphasized as “paramā bhakti.”
The verse mainly highlights ritual practice (vrata/upavāsa and mantra-stotra recitation) rather than a technical Vedanga; indirectly it points to correct mantra usage (linked to Śikṣā for pronunciation) and orderly worship procedure (kalpa-style ritual discipline).
