Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: Mohinī Ekādaśī
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta (wonder)
It identifies Mohinī Ekādaśī as a highly meritorious vrata that removes spiritual and worldly obstacles, validated by the precedent of King Rukmāṅgada’s observance.
By praising Ekādaśī as ‘mahāpuṇyā’ and obstacle-destroying, the verse frames disciplined vrata-observance as a practical support for steady Viṣṇu-bhakti—protecting devotion from distractions and hindrances.
It uses calendrical/astronomical timing—Ekādaśī in Mādhava (Vaiśākha) during the bright fortnight—reflecting Jyotiṣa-based vrata scheduling central to Narada Purana rituals.
