Śāpaprāpti (Receiving a Curse) — Mohinī Narrative
Unspecified (dialogue speaker not identifiable from the single verse alone)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhakti
Secondary Rasa: shanta
It teaches that devotion to Mādhava grants inner dignity and divine protection, so a true devotee is not ultimately subjected to disgrace; grief is replaced by confidence in dharma and bhakti.
Bhakti is shown as a transformative identity: one who belongs to Mādhava is upheld by that relationship, making honor and spiritual steadiness natural outcomes even amid hardship.
No specific Vedāṅga (Śikṣā, Vyākaraṇa, Chandas, Nirukta, Kalpa, Jyotiṣa) instruction is given in this verse; the practical takeaway is ethical—steadfastness and courage grounded in Vaiṣṇava dharma.
