Saṃdhyāvalī-ākhyāna

Mohinī-parīkṣā; Dvādaśī-vrata-mahattva

इहार्थं श्रूयते भद्रे इतिहासः पुरातनः । कथयिष्यामि ते भद्रे सावधाना श्रुणुष्व मे ॥ १६ ॥

ihārthaṃ śrūyate bhadre itihāsaḥ purātanaḥ | kathayiṣyāmi te bhadre sāvadhānā śruṇuṣva me || 16 ||

Ở đây, hỡi người hiền ái, có một truyền thuyết thiêng liêng từ thuở xưa được nghe kể liên quan đến việc này. Ta sẽ thuật lại cho nàng, hỡi người hiền ái—hãy lắng nghe ta thật chăm chú.
