वसिष्ठ उवाच । संप्रस्थितावुभौ राजन्गिरिशीर्षाद्धरातलम् । पश्यमानौ बहून्भावान्गिरिजातान्मनोहरमनोहरान् ॥ १ ॥

vasiṣṭha uvāca | saṃprasthitāvubhau rājangiriśīrṣāddharātalam | paśyamānau bahūnbhāvāngirijātānmanoharamanoharān || 1 ||

Vasiṣṭha nói: Tâu Đại vương, cả hai người ấy rời đỉnh núi mà xuống mặt đất, vừa đi vừa chiêm ngưỡng muôn cảnh tượng kỳ diệu, những hình tướng nhiệm mầu sinh ra từ núi, đẹp đẽ vô cùng.
