Narada (within the Narada–Sanatkumara dialogue framework)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: shanta
Secondary Rasa: bhakti
It states that Viṣṇu-worship becomes truly fruitful when done with tattva (right understanding) and nyāya (proper procedure), yielding both worldly aims (dharma, artha, kāma) and the onward movement of wisdom (prajñā).
Bhakti here is not mere emotion; it is reverent worship of Viṣṇu aligned with correct doctrine and ritual propriety, which harmonizes life-goals and matures into prajñā—devotion that elevates both conduct and insight.
The verse emphasizes nyāya-vihita (rule-based correctness), pointing to ritual discipline and procedural accuracy—closely aligned with Kalpa (ritual manuals) and the broader vaidika concern for performing worship according to prescribed vidhi.
