Adhyaya 50 — Mind-Born Progeny, Svayambhuva Manu’s Lineage, and Brahmā’s Ordinance to Duḥsaha (Alakṣmī’s Retinue)
नव ब्रह्माण इत्येते पुराणे निश्चयंगताः ।
ततोऽसृजत् पुनर्ब्रह्मा रुद्रं क्रोधात्मसम्भवम् ॥
nava brahmāṇa ity ete purāṇe niścayaṃ-gatāḥ | tato ’sṛjat punar brahmā rudraṃ krodhātma-sambhavam ||
Những vị này được xác lập trong Purāṇa là “chín Brahmā” (chín bậc tổ sinh nguyên thủy). Sau đó, Brahmā lại tạo ra Rudra, sinh từ chính tinh chất của cơn phẫn nộ.
