अन्यस्मान्नगरादेर्या कार्यमुद्दिश्य मानवैः ।

क्रियते वसतिः सा वै विज्ञेया वसतिर्नरैः ॥

anyasmān nagarāder yā kāryam uddiśya mānavaiḥ / kriyate vasatiḥ sā vai vijñeyā vasatir naraiḥ

Nơi cư trú mà người ta lập nên xa thành thị (hoặc tương tự) vì một công việc hay mục đích nào đó—hãy biết đó là “vasati”, tức một xóm/điểm định cư phục vụ công việc.
