Adhyaya 49 — Primordial Human Creation, the Rise of Desire, and the Origins of Settlements, Measures, and Agriculture

ध्यानेन मनसा तासां प्रजानां जायते सकृत् ।
शब्दादिर्विषयः शुद्धः प्रत्येकं पञ्चलक्षणः ॥
Transliteration
dhyānena manasā tāsāṃ prajānāṃ jāyate sakṛt |
śabdādir viṣayaḥ śuddhaḥ pratyekaṃ pañcalakṣaṇaḥ ||
Translation
Nhờ thiền định—bằng tâm—những loài ấy tạo ra con cái chỉ một lần. Các đối tượng giác quan, bắt đầu từ âm thanh, đều thanh tịnh, mỗi thứ đều có năm đặc tính.
